PIERRE MARCUSPresident & CEO, Member of the Worldwide Executive Committee, Prodigious France Pierre Marcus was born in 1952. He started his career at TV production company TELE 2000 which he co-founded. TELE 2000 was famous for representing foreign directors such as Clearwater (Grand Prix Cannes for LEGO), Alan Orpin, Sid Roberson, Jeff Stark, Joe Public and others. He won more than 7 Lions during that period. In 1998 Pierre became head of TV at BBDO Paris working along famous creative directors such as Anne de Maupeou, Fred &Farid, Naville & Behaeghel. He then became Head of TV Worldwide in charge of PEPSI COLA. While at BBDO, Pierre won his fair share of Lions including two GOLD for BRANDT and FRANCE TELECOM. Since 2005 Pierre has been working for Publicis Groupe as President & CEO of WAM in Paris and in London. For your info WAM is the decouple TV department of Publicis Groupe (Publicis Conseil, Marcel, Leo Burnett, Saatchi…) in charge of 100% of the TV Production, Post-Production, Sound Production (www.wam.fr). He continues garnering Lions (15 including 3 GOLD for FIAT, RENAULT Espace and the Craft GOLD winner CARTIER Odyssey). He is also CEO of Sequencis, WAM in-house production company which also won a GOLD for RENAULT Espace 360, and finally, from the 23rd September, he has just named Chairman and CEO of Prodigious France, which is the new Publicis Groupe Production platforms entities which gather Mundocom and WAM. |

The Cristal Festival and I, we go way back.
A few Grand Prix, a lot of Cristal, but this time I am on the other side as “President of the Production Jury”. It took many years for any festival to welcome Production and the Cristal was one of the first if not the first. We all agree that there is no great advertising without great ideas but there is no great advertising without great production either. Can’t wait to be among you in Courchevel. |
