Tash WHITMEY

Group CEO, Havas EHS

Tash’s marketing career began in 1990 at Data by Design, where she helped teams of analysts sell data and segmentation solutions to a wide range of clients. Moving to French data company Consodata, Tash broadened her data experience to designing, building and running nationwide consumer databases for clients such as Lever Brothers and Kimberly-Clark. After a short stint building a technology company that created one of the first e-procurement systems, Tash joined Havas to run the Diageo relationship marketing database in 2000.

Tash then moved to Havas EHS, formerly known as EHS 4D Group, bringing her extensive knowledge of data strategy to the agency. From Havas EHS Discovery she transitioned into the creative agency, where she drew together the agency’s creative and data capabilities to drive CRM strategies for clients.
This experience, together with her years in client services, business development and more technical roles, made Tash the obvious choice for Group Managing Director in November 2010. Her role in driving new business and her close involvement with client work ensured revenue growth and client retention. Now Group CEO, Tash continues to drive the agency forward.

In her first four years with Havas EHS Discovery, Tash worked with such clients as Diageo, Diesel, Mazda and easyJet on the building and management of databases and close collaboration with data planners and analysts, among other projects. On the creative side of the business she has specialised in loyalty and CRM with clients including Tesco, ODEON, compare the market, easyJet, Eon and Diageo.

MOT DU PRÉSIDENT
tashwhitmey The Cristal Festival is designed to celebrate great work in advertising, media, digital and marketing innovation and it is my very great honour to be invited to be President of the Digital and Mobile Jury at this prestigious event.

The world of marketing innovation becomes synonymous with mobile and digital, and this will only increase. Digital and mobile will be more and more fundamental to the way that we create experiences that consumers want to engage with and which will drive forward the relationships that brands have with their customers so it feels like completely the right time for these to take such a prime role in the festival.

I look forward very much to working with all of the jurors as take the opportunity of being immersed in the best examples of digital and mobile work the world has to offer.
